Is it your first Amex? I was thrilled to get in the door with my Zync and felt like I accomplished my mission when I got my Blue Cash Everyday. It's a good feeling to be approved. Cograts again. Enjoy it! That's a nice bonus too!

Yes this is my first Amex and it feels good to get in the door like you said... i been contemplating for like two weeks i think but i soon as I saw that $250 offer i said "the time is now". It does feel good to accomplished this mission of getting in the door 
Haha.. that happens to me every time I pull the trigger with them (even for CLIs), LOL!

That application process started spinning and by the 5-10 second mark i hear my notification on my phone ring and it was an approval email.
the computer spinned for another 15-20 seconds but i already knew the result ...feels good!!!

But to answer you question i been visiting the amex site for a while like i said previously just comparing cards and looking at my options, I also been checking for approvals by submiting my info but nothing would come up for the BCP only platinum and EDP. I have received mail offers for charge cards but nothing for BCP.
Today i checked the card comparison(BCE and BCP) that i been had open on my laptop amd i noticed the offer was 150 and 250 respectively. I did chat with a reprensentitive the other day and he sent me an offer but i dont remember being tthe 250.
i just checked the amex site on my phone it shows 100 and 150 at the same time i refreshed the browser on my laptop and it shows 150 and 250 so i guess it was targeted?

Awh shucks. I never get any prequals for Amex, but a 250 bonus would make my finger VERY itchy. I really want this card.
