Amex CLI 7-10 day?

Decided just for giggles to see if Amex would give me a CLI on my Magnet card which for whatever reason they issued for $1k SL vs the $10K of my BCE. Got a 7-10 day message, but instantly got an email saying they had a decision and to call Member services. Anyone seen this? At work and really can't call for a while...

If you received an email notification, then call them as soon as you can to see whether they need additional information to process or proceed with the CLI request.

I can tell you my experience,  denial denial.

I applied for CLI got the email to call, it's automated it told me the system had no record of a CLI request in last the 90 days, asked if I wanted to apply.  I did put in all info income etc, it denied me stating I was denied because I recently was denied in the last 90 days so what😈

Beyond frustrated and with recent navy approval thinking of closing my cards now.
