Amex CLI questions if you have multiple Amex cards

So I was able to wiggle my way in with amex and I have two cards one with a $1k limit and another with a $2k limit. The 1k limit is at it 62 day open date and I tried for the cli of three times the amount and it only approved me for $2k so I declined. Thought it would be best to try and get an increase on the 2k card. Will my decline mess anything up for me? Thanks!
