I had an Amex Blue card and went through difficut times in 2008 and 09 with medical issues and had charge offs, including with Amex.
I used a Debt Resolution company and they helped me settle the accounts, less than full, but legally settled.
Amex sent me a letter inviting me to apply for the Amex Green and another for Amex Gold. I have not responded yet. In the past, I had the Green, then Gold, then they offred me the Blue in a year or two.
If I settled with them for a partial amount, are they likely to deny me their cards now?
I currently have scores in the 650 to 680 range, with 6 COs coming off by the end of the year.
Do they dent apps because of partial settlements?
