@FLLGuy, AMEX asks for income verification are highly profile specific. YMMV.

I was approved for Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant for $15K. Received full 3X CLI to $45K without IV at just over 60 days. Received additional $30 CLI on the card just over for months later to new CL of $75K without IV.

Just to add my 2 cents for other readers:   profile specific is also included of how long one has been associated with Amex. I have been with Amex for the last 25 years, and has the very same card that OP has with a CL of over $59k... and have many more Amex cards ...never ever been asked for any income verification.

"Tenure" with AMEX as cardholder does appear to be one of several elements they use to determine whether income verification is warranted.  Like you, although I've not been a continuous AMEX cardholder, my overall relationship goes back a few decades so that (along with other current profile markers) might have helped me to stave off the IV request until the $75K mark.  I will note that they did recently ask me for IV to exceed that on the Marriott card, even though they also approved me for a $10K SL on BCP application the same day.

Re: Amex Cash Magnet - CLI $50K w/o Income verification?

Quick Update

After 30days the prompt to upload bank statements has vanished and the " cli love"  button returned to my main screen.  I took a gamble and re-tried this time asking for a $5K cli, and received 7-10days message.   Ill wait for the mail to explain hope theres no mention of bank or income proof.  Good news is the love button still there.

ill let you guys know how it goes.  After the letter ill upgrade the Magnet card to BCE.

*Update*

Primary card holder always followed $10K every 6mos,  Took a gamble asked for $50K and prompted for bank statements.  She doesn't feel comfortable providing anyone with bank statements.  She's hoping at least to ask for $5K.   After this she doesn't want to do anymore CLIs.

Do you guy know if the prompt asking for 3mos statements expires after some time or is this fixed for the long haul?

@FLLGuy so they give you I believe 14 days or perhaps 21 days to supply them with the requested info. If you ask for any other limit increases during this time they will tell you that you are ineligible currently because you already have a pending limit increase request. After the timeframe they gave you for sending them the requested info  expires you can begin to make requests for limit increases on that card or other cards.

In my experience asking for a limit increase on that same card automatically prompts you to send in the bank statements again. I was trying to take my Blue Cash Preferred from $25K to $30K and they asked for bank statements to be sent in or for me to give them access to login to my accounts.  After it expired I asked a 2nd time months later after my annual income had increased. They asked for bank statements again. After the deadline to submit it passed by, I asked for a limit increase on my Blue Business Cash card. I wanted to increase the limit from $9K to $25K. That was instantly approved with no request for banking info.

That is interesting. With income verification do they only want bank statements or would a paystub also suffice for proof of income?

@WasteMgmt  in my personal case just 3x months of bank statements is what Amex requested.  I know of others who specifically get asked for POI in other instances.  Overall YMMV depending your profile and credit limit exposure.

@WasteMgmt  I'm not sure if a paystub would suffice or not. I know for me I was only given 2 options, supply my last 3 bank statements to my bank accounts or give them my bank login info. I guess if paystubs are to be allowed it'll likely be 3 months worth needed. Probably should contact them directly to confirm if paystubs would be acceptable.
