You guys are sock drawing a card that has an Annual Fee?
No annual fee on my BCE. Just no CLI Luv from them right now. Seems to be hit or miss who gets approved fro 3xCLI from them these days.
Mine was denied a couple months ago cited my BK ( which I had when they let me have the 1K limit card in October ) So I won't ask until it the BK is gone next year. I do still use it.

Yep, the Amex revolvers usually have a 'NPSL' feature similar to their charge cards (they don't refer to it as that, though).
The online 'check spending power' button works just like it does on their charge cards, and a few people on here have reported using a revolving card successfully over their credit line before. Just be aware that once you're over your limit you're at their mercy for each approval, and they can literally cut you off at any time.
Also note that any amount over your credit line will be added to the minimum payment. ![]()
I personally think it's a great feature to have for an emergency or for a single purchase that's over your credit limit but for which you need to use a particular card (airline tickets, etc.) however I wouldn't trust it to make multiple transactions once the credit limit has been exceeded (unless you tried the 'spending ability' button again for each purchase, which is the only way to know if continued charging would be approved.)
I hope this makes sense!
Just my 2¢. ![]()
I'm fairly new to this site, and finally have something to contribute. I app for this card and was initially giving the $1000 CL on 3/10/2106, I didn't ask for any CLI. I was waiting the 6 months when I received a email that they've automatically increased my CL TO 2500 on 7/28/16. From what I've read on this forum that never happens.

Don't hit the spending power button more than two times in a day or they will probably freeze your account.
Lol good one. Ladies and gentlemen great example of why we shouldn't text and drive.
The flars (what we call flying cars here in the future) are awesome, the new species we discovered is better. I can't wait til you experience what mankind invents in 2092, it's mind blowing.

Even in the future AMEX doesnt start a person out with a high limit. How is year 2106 Lorenzo. I sure hope there are flying cars by then.
Amex uses the Experian score listed online in your account.
As to when you'll get an approval on the CLI that's a mystery. Consdiering your intial approval one would think you would be able to CLI at 61/181 like most are able to. Just give it some time and maybe put a recurring monthly bill on it to show usage and payment history.
