Re: Amex Delta Gold Question

I was approved with an experion score of 626. Applied and was approved for $1000. I’d say go for it! Amex preapprovals are more accurate than most. GOOD LUCK!

Does my UTL% matter? I can have it at zero if needed. Last month I was at 11%. Was thinking of going for 0% utl. Is that a good idea?

Re: Amex Delta Gold Question

I don't think it matters that much, just so long as it isn't over 30%.  Granted a lower UTL does look geat, but it's the other factors in your CR like overal score and if any baddies are present. However, having it at 0% definitely isn't going to hurt anything.

Re: Amex Delta Gold Question

You will most likely be approved with your score. I was approved at 610 EX.

But I also second waiting, atleast a month but ideally until your at 670 or higher.

Amex 1K SL are the hardest to grow. It may be your goal now but in 3 months with better scores it could be your lowest limit.
Tons of posts on here about 1K not growing for 9 months or longer. Just be aware of that

Thanks for your input! It's appreciated! My thinking was to get the Delta card with 1k SL. Then once I'm in the door with Amex I can apply for other cards down the road with them. Is that a good idea?
