Got both a week ago.
Amex does not have any rule but if you got the 2 cards a week ago then they are probably thinking it is fraud hence the pending message. Definately call them tomorrow and see what if there is something they need to further process your application.
bummer that it was yesterday OP totally could hvae snagged another card bonus. Regardless, 1 HP for 50k MR points is still a slick deal in my book with partner transfers. Hopefully there are more data points for travel reimbursement! looks like AA gift cards have went through for a few people
