Still blacklisted after all these years. Waiting for snail mail letter (for some reason I can't access the denial reason online).

BK7 2009 that fell off reports this year. Amex was included.

I scratch my head trying to understand why they gave me a Hilton card last year w a 20k starting limit and have denied any CLI attempts (put 18k of spend on the card in 2018) citing previous relationship.

But hey, not hating. I get it. 

edit: cold app, private mode and saw the 45k pt SUB, w 2k spend.

I had a BK 2006, included Amex for 12k. It took until 2016, they allowed me to be an AU, 6 months later approved for Delta Gold, Now I have Amex Gold and 3 other cards. It took some time b4 Amex forgave me.

Sorry about the denial. I would like to point out, if they gave (approved) you for the Hilton, you aren't blacklisted anymore technically. They simply denied the Green card.

Maybe it's not a denial? Sometimes they might be asking for more info.

This is not the first post Ive read where someone came off Amex BL and got approved for a card just to be forever capped at the SL.  Good luck in growing it in the future

Nah, I’ve never had a pre-approval.

OK Gotcha.... That's usually a safe bet.  I'm surprised, no Pre-approvals.  After my first card, anytime I click on any of the other cards available,, they usually say "You're Pre- Approved". Have you tried?
