I applied for the Amex Blue Everyday card and Amex cancelled the app. They said since already have the Amex Preferred they cant issue the Everyday to me, they are in the same family. I thought I saw on a few signatures that some people have both?? Not sure, their cards do look alike.
So app'd for the Amex Hilton Honors and it says processing. I called Amex, they said they have to hold the app for 5 days since I was just approved for the Preferred. Do you think its a good chance I'm approved? Would it deny me right away? For the Preferred I was approved online immediately for $4000
They also told me you can have 5 Amex cards at a time. I only want two though, then I am staying in the garden for 1-2 years.
I am just letting everyone know in case they plan on applying for any amex cards.

If Amex already approved you for the Preferred,I don't see why it would be a problem. What's your scores like? I assume Amex is using the same pull for both apps.
My current fico 8 scores are EQ 657, EX 703, TU 708. But they pulled an old report from February of this year and all my scores were in the upper 600's then.
Do you know why they wouldnt pull a current report?
Ive only seen one so far on experian.
I thought i read its a soft pull if you apply within 5 days of each other
