No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
When I am logged in to American Express, I can click on "Free Credit Score and Report" which opens a new tab for MyCredit Guide. Right below the score is "Check for Prequalified Offers" and that takes me to a page showing my card and then the rest of their cards. Doesn't say anything about pre-qualified or pre-approved, just apply now.

Well, at least it was approved versus being denied so that's a plus.
The downside is that you barely cleared the limbo stick. Not a really bad thing, though, since you are an AENB cardmember, you'll be able to potentially see other card offers at some point once credit profile factors improve as you build history and things age with your AENB account. Just exercise some patience.
If it were me, I would wait on another card til after the mortgage.

Duely noted!!! Thanks
