well, i dont think is about like or dislike about you, it maybe somenthing in your
credit profile that is not alowing you get with amex, some time is not about high score, is more then that, look last month my scores was low not good, EX657,EQ639,TU668, and i was approved for venture card,walmart,amazon,orbitz visa,and also delta skymiles(this one i had to call for a recon)but dont be discourage, since you dont need more credit right know is a good deal, wait couple more months and try again
go for Delta Skymiles easy to get and get your foot in the door with amexyou will get in with amex soon or later Best of luck
