How long after getting an Amex card do you have to wait to get other cards w a sp? I tried and they tried pulling my credit I just got approved 3 days ago and haven't received my card yet ofc.
I've had 4 Amex cards and they were all HP. Everything else (CLI, product changes) have been SP, but new card has always been HP for me.
YMMV as they say but normally after the first card, they SP for the rest. I got my first card in May this year and its almost 6 months old. I just got approved for my second Amex card yesterday and it looks like a SP.

The whole "HP only for the first card, everything else is SP" notion is YMMV. For MOST people, there will only be a HP on the first card, but it's very possible to get HP'd on subsequent cards.
That said, Amex also has a rule of only 1 card app every 5 days, with no more than 2 approvals in a rolling 90 day period. Perhaps that could be why they tried HPing you again, since it's only been 3 days.

It's profile dependent, some people have multiple cards with multiple hard pulls, some have many with one. Right now I have 5 Amex cards, and 3 cli's, with no hard pulls other than the first one. My second card was 6 months after my first, and have done one every 6 months since.
