Amex prg

So I'm fairly new into the credit game. I am wondering if i would possibly be approved for a prg.
Data points.
699 fico8 experian
Lowes opened sep 16 1200/7200
Kay jewelers opened dec 16 500/1200
Cap1 opened mar 18 0/300
Auto loan may 17
2 inquiries in last 12 months.
One 30 day late

No preapprovals on amex site, I've already checked

Yeah, you will probably approve as long as that one 30 days late is not recent.

have you considered the AMEX Delta Gold, its seems to be the easier card to get

Yes I've thought about it but I'm looking for a more general reward card other then being locked to just one airline and their partners. Any other recommendations?

I have the Amex delta platinum and the Citi AA MasterCard both give first bag free and priority boarding. Did you check with sure Chase and Citi

699 and no pre approvals from Amex, my Experian is 677 and I have 3 cards offered.

I didn't have any prequals on the site either.  I applied for the Delta Gold and was approved only $1000 sl but then applied for the green card and was approved for that one as well.  My scores are hovering around 650 with one baddie over 4 years old.  If you can afford the HP then I would say go for it.  I was just looking for a foot in the door.
