Amex "Pre-Approved" but denied data points?

Hello, quick poll...

Anyone out there in the last month (after the tighter approval guidelines that Amex is potentially imposing) been pre-approved for a card, applied but then actually denied? Any data points would be appreciated.

Pre-approved = getting that "X - you are pre-approved!" message when you click the apply button for a card in your Amex account.

Did you have your reports locked?

Oh, I haven't experienced this yet but I'm looking to pull the trigger on something next week and was wondering if they're honoring the pre-approvals with everything that's going on.

I know they're system generated. The pre-apprvoved messages. And from what I've read on these forums, pretty accurate and reliable.
