Hello community,
I received an invitation to apply for the Amtrak Guest Rewards Preferred card. I'm a frequent Amtrak customer. After applying, I received a 2-4 weeks message. Anyone familiar with this outcome? I'm used to instant approvals at this point, so I was surprised. Is FNBO like Chase with the sometimes lengthy credit review process? Not sure what this message means. Is is likely a denial?
Thanks!

The 2-4 week message doesn't always translate into a denial. However, it's possible your application is still under review. You can check the application status via the link below:

Thank you for your reply! I checked the status. It says no application found. It's odd.
Thank!

That's definitely odd.
Try reaching out to them via their Backdoor Number and see whether they can provide further info.
FNBO: 800-444-6220 (UW/Credit Reallocations)

Question after you got approved -- did an email come through? I got approved for 5700 but no email came through. ** if anyone knows the answer here that would be helpful * -- It just said Congrats Approved for 5700 and will get card in 7 business days etc etc
Also ic alled their number and tried to look up my app status but couldnt be found. I tried both numbers I have for them and since I dont have a card number - I just press Zero and it just is white static noise and no one picks up. Odd
Thanks
Hello,
Yes, I received an approval email the next day. I believe I had to verify my email address first. Hope this helps! Congrats on the approval!
