I am planning a vacation to Europe so thought I would apply for a Chase Sapphire Preferred Card to use miles for the airfare the 50K plus 5K for an authorized user purchase was too good to pass up. I've been a Chase card holder for twelve years just three new accounts in the last twenty four months and have had an offer for the card on my account page (yes green checked) for quite a while. Filled in income and phone number received the 30 day notice figured I would call them to see if they needed verification talked to analyst she texted me a code I gave it back to her I then remembered I had my bureaus frozen she said they would pull TransUnion so I lifted the freeze and called them back they sent another code put me on hold for two minutes came back and said I would receive their answer by mail within one to two weeks. I've never experienced this before with an application it caught me a little off guard if for some reason they don't approve I guess I will need to look at a different travel rewards card as I do not have one currently any suggestions as to which cards might work well would be appreciated.
