Amex has always been my Dream card. Just want to get in door.
My Verizon Co disappeared from Ex, and my score went up 34 points. Too (661)
Crazy thing is Ex has the most collections (5) with my other 2 reports having 2. 3 of them being older Medical
Ex has 4 inq's, 1 15 months old. The other 3 drop off in a few months.
Oldest accout 1974 AU Shell
Highest limit Cap1 Qs $4500 4 1/2 yrs old
Newest accounts 6 months old.
Utilization under 1%
Tried Pre Qualifier but nothing
Would I be wasting my time, or do have a shot. Maybe Delta? Want to take advantage of Verizon being gone. (For now)
Have you tried the pre-qualiier on their site to see if there were any offers? I don't think you will have much luck with 5 collections but I could be wrong.
I had one small medical collection from 2010 and was approved. My ex score was around 698 at the time of my app. I didn't apply until I finally matched up with their offers.
Tried earlier today nothing... Sucks been fighting my Ca's... Gotten a lot of the easier ones off. Have fair income 76k...

Yes
I got approved for Green and BCE on Tuesday : 1 Charged off CC, 1 Verizon Charge Off and 2 Medical Collection
Was very surprised at the approval but my scored had just jumped to the 660's across the board and was getting preapprovals from other lenders so i took the chance.
Anything is possible, but i believe is better to not app at the moment.
when i had one 1 collection amex didnt approve me. it was after it was removed that amex approved me.
dont waste a HP now.!

I was approved for the ED card with an experian FICO of 632. I had 2 open collections (small medical items, $170 and $350 balance unpaid) and 3 student loans that had late payment history.
I also had 2 First Premier cards that had been charged off. While those were still showing on my CR, I couldn't get a pre-qualified offer...but as soon as they fell off, i was approved for the card (with no pre-qualified offer showing).
I did have established credit card usage, oldest one being Cap1 (4 years) with no late history and low balances.

I did on Delta. The lowest CL they give I think. Pinnacle(aka Verizon), and 2 other much smaller CA's on the report from a known person ID theft. I came to the realization that I got lucky and won't bother trying for CLI's until those are all cleared up and gone(less than 2 years).
Mine was one of the first apps during my 11/15 mini-spree when I saw my score at 670. Was a cold-app, no prequal showing... I rolled the dice.
If I were to apply, Delta is the easiest right?
Delta, is the easiest? Right?

Don't know about Delta, but last summer I got approved for the ED with a paid collection still showing. If I could do it over again, I would wait, because I got a small limit at the time ( and they are keeping me in toy limit hell). I should have allowed my profile to grow some more, but I was anxious to get approved for bank cards. I now understand why others say to give it time because now I'm at the point where I'm not seeing anymore growth until all my score hit 700 and when I purchase my 3B in a few weeks, I expect to take a hit in scores cause I had to purchase some furniture. You will get there. Patience is the key.
