Anyone get a Capital One request for verification and been denied?

I applied for the Savor card this past weekend and got the pending message. The next day I got a call from the fraud department asking to confirm it was me who applied. They said they were sending an email with a link for me to securely upload my driver's license. I get the email and it said,

"We’re excited to have you as a Capital One® customer—we need just one more thing."

I want to think this is a good sign as I can't imagine bothering to verify an applicant's identity if the application was going to be denied, so I'm curious as to others' experience here.

Of course YMMV applies.

I've had similar things happen, but not for CapOne. Verification is a common requirement for final approval.

With that said, if they're asking for a driver's license, you're almost certain to be approved.

No credit news is good credit news!

I'm going through the same exact thing right now for a Capital one Quick Silver!

Uploaded my DL today.

Ugh! Keep us posted on the results.  I checked the status line and it says the application is still being reviewed.

Happened to me too just a couple weeks ago. I was approved and received my card today!
