I received a pre qual in the mailbox today. The interest rate and rewards are pretty enticing especially the extra 10% in rewards for maintaining my PMA account. Only issue is I just a BOA rewards card and a store card in January. Not sure if I want another HP or new account so soon. Just pondering if it is worth it.

Wells Fargo is not very popular in the forum, their rewards structure is mediocre at best.

IFits your only credit card in use, and put almost all possible spend through it MAY work for you. For that reason its not popular on here, where so many of us have a handful of monthly use cards to split spend.

The only real reason I can think of that would make me consider a Wells card at this point is to provide overdraft protection for a checking account, but I agree that is even questionable.
Note that I did say 'consider'... not 'definitely app'. ![]()
The propel card isnt bad but just dont get the basic one. pay the $45 a year for a better card and get the free cell phone insurance!

I agree... the phone insurance is a nice perk.![]()
I also want to say that for the right person with the right spending pattern, Wells can be a solid choice.
In my last post instead of addressing the OP's question (about experience with the Propel) I instead quipped that it wasn't for me - which isn't the OP's question. This has actually prompted me to take a closer look at Wells, and the Propel in particular (which I'm still researching).
In the future I'll refrain from posting unless I have something positive or genuinely helpful to add, unless someone specifies they are looking for opinion. (Hey, we all have those days, right?) ![]()
