@Anonymous wrote:Who do you think would give the higher limit, besides Navy (membership may be an issue)? I'm already at 3 new accounts. Would 5 or 6 new accts be too much? Do you think it would tank my scores? I just read somewhere on here that Citi is very inquiry sensitive and they don't want to see more than 5 inqs in 6 mos. Does Citibank generally pull Experian? If so, currently have 3 inqs on EX; should I app Citi 1st, then Chase (Ex pull too)
should this be the order:
1. Citibank, generally a Experian pull?
2. Chase, another Experian pull, that makes a total of 5 for ex
3. Barclays ring, Arrival+ WEMC, or Sallie Mae? TU Pull
4. Capital one Venture
5 or 6 new accounts is a lot and will more than likely tank your scores, but they will rebound in time. The Venture would most likely give you your highest limit out of that list followed by Chase. Citi generally pulls EX judging by the credit pulls database but they seem to pull EQ from time to time.
The question I seem to be asking a lot recently is will you be able to meet the bonus spends for any accounts added?
So I did it! I tried Barclays; I really wasn't sure which card to apply for based on what was easiest to get......Applied for the Barclays Ring card.....APPROVED! $5,000 SL. It wasn't an instant approval, I got the "under review 10 day" message. I called the number for the back office that was on a post on this site.....answered a few security questions and finally got approved. Couldn't have done it w/o this site! Thanks! I'm learning so much!

Congratulations! Will you be applying for anything else on your list?
I'm thinking I'll just end off with the Cap1 Venture....hopefully. That will be 5.....I'm thinking I should forget about the rest for a while and head to the garden?
I would go for a Chase product & Venture and head to the garden if I were in your shoes.
I would stay away from CSP though unless you are sure you can hit the $7k spend for both CSP & Venture.
Whoa! So you're saying still try for a Chase product after all that? It would definitely be a freedom instead.....I don't want to meet the spend on both Venture and CSP. Can I or should I really get 6 cards in this short period of time?? Advice somebody? Lol! I want to but I'll be gardening forever! Lol

Definitely look into the AARP card from Chase. 3% cash back on restaurants and fast food. You don't need to be old. I'm 24 and have it. Just leave the AARP membership # on the app blank.
Ultimately it's up to you. But like I said, I personally would go for a Chase product + Venture
