Started with a QS1 during my rebuild. Recently PC'd to a QS. SL was $3500. Hit the luv button this week and got an immediate $500, so $4000 SL now. I'm wondering how much it can grow since it started as a rebuild QS1. On the preapproval page, I have both QS and Venture with single interest rate, not a range. I don't really have a use for a travel card or a 2nd QS, but combining them might be worthwhile. I'm planning on app'ing for a Chase Freedom around September. Currently 3/24 so definitely don't want to get too crazy. I'm thinking wait to do anything with CO until after getting the Freedom? Thoughts? EQ-705 TU-730 EX-689 (Would like the EX above 700 before app'ing Chase)
If I was you I would definitely apply for the Venture now. That is a higher tiered card and chase will like it better if you have 2 cards of history than just 1.
@Anonymous.
Congrats on the new approval. Cap 1 only allows you to apply for new credit every 6 months.

Oh I have several cards. QS, Disco it, and 2 Barclays cards. QS is highest SL at $4K. Lowest is Barclay Rewards at $2500. Oldest account is 22 years. Avg is over 5.

Does the PC count as applying for new credit. The QS1 was opened about 6 years ago.

Sorry. Read it wrong. If it's been a while, then you're good to go. When I got my Venture preapproval, it gave me a single credit limit. Good luck.
