No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
It is possible, I have seen it, but it it is rare. A Discover or Chase student card is more likely, unless they card be an AU (they don't even need the card) to build a profile. Ideal cards have low utilization, high credit, long history, aren't AmEx issued (Wells Fargo AmEx works fine for example).
I have researched this card. I find it is great if you buy a ton of Apple products. It's "meh" if you can pay with Apple Pay.
The no fees thing is pretty sweet, but, as far as I can see this is the only good thing about this card. It is not revolutionary as Apple suggests.
There are much better cards out there. Off the top of my head, the Discover It Student card is a better option. Also, there are better options then a credit card for establishing credit, like an auto loan.
