Goldman really doesn't like BKs... There are far more declines than there are approvals with BKs. Some of us got in but those of us that did had our major transgressions far behind us.

Hello to all and happy holidays, this is getting interested, after my BK I had learned a lot about credit repair and also I had learned that because there are different criteria’s for approvals and denials every situation is different for every one, one of my objectives was to repair my credit and I did , for some individuals after they filed BK they got desperate to getting credit I saying this because it happens to me then after joining credit forums from different sources i staring to become more consciously in applying for new credit and with good behavior I reached my goal. Thinking because now I have an excellent credit I applied for the Apple Card and guess what I got denied and I asked my self **bleep** I couldn’t believe then I realice I don’t really need this card if I already carry major credit cards with high limits, then I asked my self what I’m doing I shouldn’t be applying for more credit cards if I don’t need it, maybe this will not concern to no one but I hope this will help to other.

As you see people I don’t see why I was denied from GS Apple Card.
That's insane with your profile that you got declined. I just wanted the 3% cash back for all my Apple needs. Oh well.
Hi Waterman67
There are several things, which you didn't provide that are very important factors to consider when looking at one's overall credit profile.
Those things are salary, DTI, # of inqs in the last 3/6/12/24 months, # of new accounts over the same timeframe, UT for individual CCs, and number of CCs reporting a balance every month. Scores and CLs alone only give a snapshot of your profile. If you want to provide these other things, we can be more helpful and maybe make a determination why you were declined for the GS/Apple card.
Also, what was the decline reason.

If you had bk two yrs ago how are your reports clean
There are books out there to guide you how to get negative items removed from your credit reports even bankruptcy (much tougher, but it can be done). You can also hire companies to do it for you too. I did, and I've had a few items removed so far. They are not done yet with me.
