They mena they have too many attempts from the OP on their side. I had Chase do the same thing to me. If you app, get deinied, then app again too soon they won't even touch the 2nd one.

Ah. Went through that with Best Buy store card last year, 3-4 attempts over 2 months. Oopsie Daisy.

In case someone searches and finds this..... if your most recent app was within 90 days they won't pull a new report. They will deny you off the old one (or approve you) -so if you were denied before-wait 90 days-use the app status checked if you don't know your date-and apply when the app status checker says you have no recent apps.

I think I was denied about 6 times in the last 5 years before finally being approved. My scores were finally up towards 660 I believe but I had other cards that had a good payment history for at least a year. That was something I noticed and my TU was finally clean, no more negatives except some late payments. Before hand when I applied I had a PR and some collections.
