I am looking to get 3 cards this year and those are the US Bank Cash+, Chase Amazon Prime Visa Signature, and the PNC Cash Rewards card. I currently already have a US Bank Cash+, but I searched the forums and saw that it was possible to have 2. I've been mini gardening for the Prime card, but I can put it off for a potential 2nd Cash+. Also, I have had a checking account with PNC since 11/2020.
All my Fico 8 and 9 scores are 760+ and here are the current cards I have:
- Cap1 (5/2017)
- Best Buy (6/2018)
- Discover (11/2018)
- Amex (01/2019)
- Chase (06/2019)
- USB (03/2020)
- PPMC (03/2020)
- Apple Card (03/2020)
So I was going to apply for the Cash+ April 1st, then the Prime Visa on July 1st, and PNC maybe a week after that. Does this sound like a good idea?

You look ovee 5/24 to me so Chase will be moot point if so.

Your timeline looks correct. In July you should be 4/24. I would definitely app for the Cash+ first once you hit 0/12 in April.
Why a second USB cash back card ?
@Meanmchine I would like to get the most cash back possible in the categories I use the most. The combination of 5% cash back on fast food/utilities/cell phone/internet services are too good to pass up.
According to creditcards.com USB does product changes on credit cards. Not sure if they will/can do that for the credit card you have or not. It would not hurt to ask.
