I just recently moved and on Friday I applied for a new credit card through FNBO. I had just changed my address to my new house on all my credit cards the day prior. I am assuming none of the address changes had a chance to show on my credit report yet. My application with FNBO is pending. I’m assuming this might cause a hiccup? Should I call them first to explain (I can verify my new address with my lease or utility bill) or should I just wait for them to contact me?
Any constructive input is appreciated
Did you use the new address on the application or the former?
My new address

Ok. It's likely that they need to verify some additional information which likely involves your recent address change. You can reach out to them tomorrow and see if you can clear any issue with the application... or, you can wait for the letter if you wish.

I did reach out to their customer service line today, they don't have an underwriting department or anything you can talk to directly. The woman said I should just wait to see if I receive a letter requesting additional information or verification. So I guess it is a waiting game now!
I recently moved and applied for the FNBO Evergreen card. I updated my address but not all my credit reports were reflecting it yet by the time I applied (I should have waited longer in retrospect, admittedly). I presumed they would ask for verifications of some sort if there was a mismatch on my credit report but instead they just straight up denied me without asking for more info that would allow me to prove my current address. Just gonna have to eat the hard pull, but won't be dealing with FNBO anytime in the near future.
Are you assuming the denial was due to an address change? Usually 3 reasons are cited. What are the other reasons? And if it was because of an address change, why not call them and ask what documentation is needed as proof.
