Applying for a new Credit Card.

HI, I was considering applying for Bank of America cash rewards credit card. I have 9 hard inquiries that happened when a car dealership tried to pull my history and score when I had none. I've never missed a payment. I always paid in full before the due date. My utilization is below 6%, no high balances on any of the cards. I make around 25K a year, I know it's low but I manage my money wisely.  I also have an American Eagle retail card with CL 700 and GAP card with CL 400.

EX: 714
TransUnion: 745
Equifax: I don't know yet.

So, my question is Do I stand a chance in being approved for this card or no?

Re: Applying for a new Credit Card.

I'd say you have a decent chance.  Have you checked the pre-quals to see what they say?  How long is your credit history and where are you getting those scores from?

Re: Applying for a new Credit Card.

Im not too convinced Boa's prequals work. They seem more like generic this is what you may like, similar to Discovers.

I agree AJC, their pre-qual is very generic. I've been debating app-ing for a card from them at some point but am not a fan of the generic pre-qual.
