Applying for more than one Chase card on same pull?

Hi all,

Just got approved for the Chase Sapphire Reserve, and reading about how points from cards like the Chase Freedom can be transferred to the CSR to maximize rewards.

Curious, is it possible for them to process an app for the Freedom using the same pull for the CSR? How would I go about asking for this? Has anyone else done this?

If you apply for the Freedom on the same day (I'm guessing within 24 hours of your CSR approval) you will likely be considered based on the pull they already got.  I got my CF and CFU one afternoon and the next morning and only got one pull on EQ and EX.

There's a thread about this in the Credit Cad Applications forum right now.

Agreed with the above post.  2 Chase products applied for at the same time (same day at least, but same time is even better) often result in just one pull, or two pulls if they were going to double-pull you anyway for the 1 product (which is common with Chase).

I was approved for the CSP and Amazon cards about an hour apart from each other with the same set of pulls.  I was double-pulled with the CSP which I applied for in-branch, then when I got home about an hour later applied online for the Amazon and got approved without receiving any additional pulls.

It depends on which product and which CBs they pull, if both cards pull from the same CB then the answer is yes.  When I applied for Ink and Freedom there were 2 pulls because Ink only pull TU and Freedom EX, if CSR also pull EX like Freedom then you should be fine.
