Applying for multiple Amex cards at once...how many inquiries?

YEMV.  I've applied for two revolvers from AMEX in the past, on the same day and was approved for both SP.  Again, YEMV.

FWIW, I applied for the Amex Gold and Amex Plat on the same day recently and was instantly approved for Gold and approved for Plat after calling in and getting transferred to the fraud department.

How did they handle the credit line for the 2 cards? Were they generous? Or conservative? Or were they more conservative with the 2nd approved card than they were with the 1st?

One credit line was bigger than the other.  The Second card I applied for on the same day had a bigger SL than the first.
