All are great points. I come down on the side of go for what you want. Logic says go for the CSP because of the 5/24 rule though.
If you get it and not the Ritz,(the one you want), it'll leave a sour feeling.

Your salary is not really relevant. You could be approved for the CSP with a $50k salary as well. If anything, that high a salary and no credit history is a red flag.
