Approval Rates on Targeted Offers from the co Branded Partners?

I am curious about all the target offers from Delta and United I keep getting in the mail. Since the don’t say anything about pre approval and aren’t from Chase and Amex should I just assume it’s general marketing and not an offer? I’m midway through a rebuild and don’t feel I qualify for the cards (backed up by the lack of online prequals!). Am I just wasting a HP if I app? No rush on my part I’ll get them when I am farther along. Replied to a United mailer months ago and chase just laughed. Thanks

These are general marketing, and just as good as cold applying in terms of credit decision. For Chase if you are over 5/24 you will still get denied.

The only advantage of these offers is that you may get better sign-up offer (speaking of Citi AAdvantage offers, not exactly sure what offers are for the United and Delta).
