Approval odds for Chase Sapphire Preferred?

Update, I just called the customer rep and he was able to give me a expedited shipping for this  card. Many thanks for your advice!

Nice SL and congrats on the approval.  Has anyone ever called immediately and reconned a Chase SL?  The OCD in me would drive me nuts with that $17,400 limit.  I'd ask for a clean $20k if they'd consider it and if not if they could at least round it up to a flat $18k.  Anyone ever have any luck doing this with a Chase card?

Congrats on the approval and the nice SL! I think Chase is in a real arms race with AMEX for high end customers. My CSP is 1.5 years old and I have 3.5  AAOA when I took the HP for CL in Dec they doubled me up from 14K to 28K! I fell to the floor! The CSA was even suprised, he said "wow! congratulations!".  I also just got approved (bypassed 5/24 on "my offers") for F.U. $16900 SL.

As far as I know, Chase would give a HP for a CLI even it's a recon of SL. So I didnt even bother to do that.

Thanks!! I was actually shocked that they give me such a high SL consider my AAoA is still pretty recent.  Congrats on your new card too!
