Avianca Avela Credit Card Application Issue

Hello my friends, hope all is well.

Title kind of says it all.

Was looking to throw an app their way after researching a few succesful attempts while also having another card with Banco Popular.

I was approved for the Avida Visa in 2016 with a $25k SL. I know their application process is ancient to say it lightly but this is ridiculous!!

Cant get past the verificantion questions in which have completely nothing to do with me. Have tried several restart apps and when it gets to the verfication questions they're way out there in left field.

Anyone else experience this issue? 

Is there a "workaround" to get past this process?

Should I try different browsers like, Chrome, Incognito, Firefox or Edge?

I wish I could help here with them.  I am curious as this card was on my radar too.

I can share something similar that happen to me elsewhere if that helps....I failed a similar process elsewhere.  Kept failing and found out it pointed back to my LexisNexis report.  However, I had CLEANED my LN report so I knew that wasn't it.  Come to find out, there is a another report they keep called ACCURINT and this is gathered from public data.  It was this report that had a ton of bad info on it and as a result, I wasn't aware and kept failing.  I called them, got a copy, found all the bad info that was coming up in the verifications like relatives, addresses and phone numbers that we're not mine along with incorrect combinations of my name.  I had to call them, dispute and get a clean copy.  Perhaps not your issue but it was a lesson I learned.  Good luck on the application.  Please keep us posted

@cashorcharge  Thanks for your contribution. Never experienced this with my first approval a free years back. I do know of First Warning Systems( or something to the effect) Lexus Nexis, Of course Sagestream/Innovis.  But Accurint is a new one to me. Might have to check into this. Companies that use these alternatives are a pain in the **s to deal with. Just use a regular credit report! 

Went on DOC to see if they had similar experiences and some mentioned that it could be EQ with old address information on your credit file but checked and that isn't my case.

Unfortunately, there's no workaround to their verification process.

You can try different browsers, but it'll still yield the verification prompts.  If you feel the questions may be off base, you'd need to obtain your Lexis Nexis or any third party reports to review for any inaccuracies.  @cashorcharge brings up an additional DP that not very many individuals may be aware of.
