In all fairness to A1987's topic/thread i feel that in all our own excitement we rather unwittingly kind of hijacked it in all our haste.

Apologize OP for going hog wild on your own thread but have you hear back on your own application yet? You mentioned that you think it was declined but did you receive that info?

I just got approved for this card, I applied for it fully expecting to get denied.

I initially got "Time Out" and a 7-10 day message, but to my surprise I got an email 2 days later saying I was approved.  After 3 different tries calling and being transfered around, I finally found someone who would give me my CL and APR.  A mediocre $1500 and high 22.24%, but with my current scores around 640 and high number of inq I'm actually happy with what I was given.  This is my first AmEx (even though I know its a cobranded one, still feels good, lol).

That's okay. I have not received an email and I have not gotten anything in the mail yet. If you guys got an email after two days, I am pretty sure I was declined. I have a high number of inquiries and a paid collection on my experian. I will post when I get their letter.
