I applied about 5 weeks ago. Pulled TU. Today I finally got a letter that said they can't verify my address and to send a copy of my DL, SS Card, and. Utility Bill and then they will continue processing my app.
Maybe if I am lucky I will get approved and have my card by Easter.
What are the benefits of getting it? I looked at it and did not see anything really appealing. Just me, maybe.
If I remember correctly, BMW is known for a long app process.
So....I didn't even know BMW had a CC...apparently I live under a rock?!
Hopefully everything get's squared away by Valentine's Day ![]()
It took about four weeks to get my BMW card. They pulled EX about two to three days after I applied online. They asked for ID/Residence verification that had to be sent by mail (no fax or upload for them). The whole process took about a month. They have very nice CSR's and will probably give you info about the status if they have received the info they requested from you. The give me the SL and APR on the phone prior to the card arriving about 10 days later.

@Anonymous....So after you sent in the documents they called and talked to you? Did they pull 2X on you? They pulled TU for me but I have read of them pulling a second later (because they take forever to approve you and things could change in the 2 months it takes...lol)
Just sent back my docs so I probably have some time left.
@BronzeTrader It is a worthless card if you don't plan on buying a BMW. If you are every little bit helps.
@Anonymous.... you had me lol'ing at your vday comment. /9 true.
After I sent in the docs I called them. I waited about 3 days after I got confirmatio of delivery. They said they received the docs and told me my SL and APR. It still took about 10 days to get the card.
It's a cool looking card especially if you like or drive a BMW. I don't care much about rewards and APR's as I try to pay in full all the time. I have bought so many BMW cars and motorcycles during my life and was never able to qualify for a card until about 6 months ago. After 50+ years I got into a position to get approved. Although many don't think much of the card it's my favorite.
Hang in there it's coming.

As far as a rewards card its not that great, but the benefits you get purchasing, leasing , or owning a Bmw are pretty decent. As I recall when I bought my bmw back in 14 they told me it can give you more lease miles, wave certain wear and tear at lease turn in, discounts when buying your next bmw, and discounts on service and accessories. If I still owned a bmw I would consider getting the card.
