How often can one request a credit limit increase from Bank of America

Technically whenever the request a credit limit increase hyperlink appears, although it's counterproductive to try if it's still there the day after you made an online request.  There is no true set mininum but for best results you might want to wait 3 months to try again if denied, 6 months if approved.

Got my first CLI after 4 months of opening account, I have tried to get another CLI after 6 months no joy so far.

My DP's. I've had this card for 14 years without any increases untl this year (credit profile improved considerably this year)

Since my first CLI - It's been getting them every 91 days, and specifically (don't know if it matters or not), once the 3rd statement has cut since last CLI. In my case the CLI link has never gone away.

03/28/21 - 2500 cli

06/27/21 - 3900 cli

09/27/21 - 6100 cli

Went from $2500 to $15K and I'd given up on ever getting one lol

I've been under the understanding that you can request CLI every 3 months (if the "Request Limit Increase" option is available on your online portal)  I just got a CLI on my BoA Cash Rewards (Customized Cash) on 9/10/21 to $11,600.....then requested again on 12-20-21 (yesterday) and received another increase to $16,000. I am also carrying a $2700 balance on a 12 month 0% APR promo, just for the added info.

The option is still showing on my portal, so I would think if it's still there after another 90 days, I could try again if I chose to do so. Or, maybe it's simply a YMMV thing.....I personally didn't have any issues.
