Does BOA have a prequalification section? Also which report do they normally pull and what does yours scores have to be like? I want to apply for the cash rewards card.
They do, but it's not acurate. Hit or miss at best since it appears it's just going to offer recommendations. If you are a current BOA customer, then that option is more viable to provide you with a preapproved offer which would list an actual APR (vs a range) that you could potentially qualify for. They can pull EX or TU (sometimes both if borderline).

Yes, BOA has a pre-equal section and are not reliable. To get enough data as to what scores people were approved at, google the credit pull database and it will give you a general idea of what their profiles look like...

Thanks. I just tried it and it said it recommended the cash rewards card "0% Introductory APR on purchases and qualifying balance transfers for 12 billing cycles; after that 12.99-22.99% variable APR".

Thats is useless pre-equal when the word used is "recommend". I'd be wary of such and move on. If you really want it, get your score up a bit that way you are safe and sound when you apply.
If you get a mail in offer that has a 'specific' APR then those are valid.
its a hit or miss like mentioned above.

If those scores in your signature are accurate, I would advise against apping until your scores are higher. I was approved for the Cash Rewards card with a 682 EX FICO. But good luck if you decide to pull the trigger!
