BOA same hp in 30 days?

I looked and couldn't find a straight answer. My sister applied for the BOA customized cash rewards and got denied. If she tries to apply for the secured version of that card in the same month, will they possibly use the same hp from the first application?

Not necessarily.  There's been mixed reports where BoA has done so in the past (depending on the timeframe of the last app) and other times where individuals ended with a 2nd HP. So, it's always YEMV.
