I've read somewhere if you can get your utilization down to under 10% overall, that might help with the pre-qual. But I agree with Flagdown, pay down your CC debt and then maybe apply.

I don't know your income OP but you should definately try to get this much lower. Your scores support more cards but can your bank? If you start throwing expenses on yet another card you'll reach 30K is little time and then would you be able to pay it all off at any point ever? I'd be careful if I were you and listen to the good people of these forums. Smiley Happy
