Bank America Credit Card Application Status

Does boa update their credit card application status once they approve or deny? Mine application for their secured card has said pending for the last two days.

Sometimes people see withdrawls from their accounts for the secured card before they are told whether or not they were approved.

Good luck!  You might try calling BofA to ask about your app.

They tell you nothing until the card or the denial letter arrives in the mail, in my experience.

If you applied online, make contact and build relationship with a branch. The branch guys at BoA can override corporate level denials.

When I arrived in the US with no credit history I got my BoA card because the branch knew my employer and, after viewing my job offer letter, agreed to issue a card. I got a DENIAL in the mail followed a week later by the card because the guy in the branch watched for the denial and then overrode it.
