Bank of America BoA application in review questions

The application date is the same as the decision date, so is this the same as a denial?

I also applied and got approved for the Merrill+ and BBR.

Does BoA allow three apps to be approved around the same time?

Should I call their credit analyst department tomorrow, or wait for the status to update?

It could go either way. They may approve you and move limits around from your other cards.

Ive noticed in my short history with applying with Boa,lol, that it seems it takes some time to find out if your approved. Im sure there are are those who get instant approved but in my case when i got my BBR, saw that decision page for days before finally getting approved. Good luck

Don't worry AvgJoe it gets better...

The same happened to DH when he applied for his first credit card with BoA it was not an instant approval. Since then, he has been instantly approved for 2 more BoA credit cards and CLIs on each card.

We didn't expect an instant approval for the original credit card because DH has some baddies (120+ days late on BoA mortgage & etc.) on his credit profile. They are about 3 years old now but he's had his original card for more than a year. I'm saying all of this to say that it's true as baddies age they have less and less impact on your profile. There is light at the end of a very long dark tunnel.

You can give them a call.  I applied on 1/2 for my 3rd BoA card...stayed "application in review" until 1/6.  Never received an email just noticed that it showed up in my online banking profile with a $6k limit.  Good luck and hopefully they get around to your app soon or at least notify you with some sort of info.

Hi all, i'm curious as to the outcome. It's been 1wk since I continue to see this message too. i called the backdoor number and was told to keep checking back for updates on site.

Did you call this number: 1-866-224-7803? It's Monday-Friday, regular business hours I think. You'll speak directly with a credit analyst and can plead your case. When I had that status, I called and the analyst approved me on spot.
