Bank of America Cash Rewards - Graduated

Every 3 months for the past year I have clicked on the CLI online with Bank of America. Always resulted in a letter that my file was locked and to call in to their toll free number. Of course I never called and just continued using the cards that had available limits and rewards.

I finally decided to call the number to see if they can do a soft pull as I am not opening up for hard pulls. They said for CLI they do a hard pull but would do a soft pull to consider the card to be transferred to an unsecured account.

Mint sent me a notice that a credit of $100 had been applied to my checking account. I logged on and was confused by the transaction. I assumed it was related to some of a million class action lawsuits happening every day. Got the letter in the mail, today.

Graduated card and 3x CLI on a soft pull.

Notes to help others making the request with locked credit files. Ask the banker if they can SP Experian. For some reason their default which is Equifax does not allow SP even with a pre-existing account line on my report. Not sure why that was preventing them but some weird set up with Equifax.

Nope af stays, but they are more likely to remove it after graduation.

My AF is up in July,(grauated in last december) Will call in July to see if they can either waive or remove it.

I was told to call back when AF hits and they'll let me know then......
