No I have no other cards with Barclays. When we did my app spree last February I applied and was denied. It's one the only banks that won't give me a chance. I thought with a 699 score I'd at least get a small cl but no.and I have decent high limits on my card and never late on any payments. Util is at 18% btw. Thinking about trying with Citi cause I have nothing with them either but don't want the HP. I though Hp's and inquiries weren't that big of a factor after 6-12 months. I know they stay on file for 2 years

Citi gave me a Costco card, but due to my BK they won't give me anything else.  I did not include them in the BK and I'm guessing that the onslaught of Costco apps last June must have caused them to loosen up their UW a bit at that time.

The only Citi Card I would get from them would either be the Prestige or the AAdvantge card.  Their rewards program doesn't really interest me that much and because Chase closed all my accounts (Sapphire, Hyatt and Ritz Card) willing to be they won't be letting me in anytime soon.  Shut down because according to them I opend to many accounts from different lenders in a short period of time(I made a post for that).  Hopefully they'll let me back in after a year or too. That's why I haven't apped for anything since the Ritz card back in August up until now.

slow down on the apping! How manycards to you need withjin a one year period. You need to lay off for one year and nuture all those accounts you have. Peoiple get so intoxiated reading about wins on this forum. You have to demostrate to the banks that you have a longer view of things.

just go an invitation in the mail from Citi to apply for the AAvantage card, 60,000 bonus points...Wondering if I should recon with Barclays for a second time and casully state that Citi offered me this card since I already have the HP from them anyway and see if they'll let me get the Red Aviator, then garden for a year or so. What do you guys think?
