Hey folks does anyone know how reliable Barclay rewards mail offers are? My fiancé is in credit rebuilding mode and we are trying to see if we can get him one more card so he can have 3 positive trade lines reporting. Just received a mailer from Barclay that says "you're pre-selected". But don't want to waste a hard pull unless he's got a reasonable shot of approval. Any thoughts?
If it has a fixed APR its supposed to be pretty reliable though of course no guarantee. Anecdotally I think their rewards mc is one of their easier cards to get.
Is the apr 24.9%? Because usually that card only offers that apr. maybe a year to two years I was flooded with those pre selected offers for that card, but I never applied for it.
