Put in an application for the Barclay Arrival Mastercard and got the 10 day messege. Surprised me becasue I have a 757 score on TU with 0 inquiries and 3% utl across 6 cards. My highest limit is 25k on Amex. I make 300k a year
After a few hours I called the credit analyst line and spoke with a gentleman. Asked about who I worked for and about a 30 day late 2.5 years ago on a car I cosigned on for my daughter. Granted my cards have NEVER EVER been late and my AMex is 19 years old.
He immedialty approved me and gave me a 25k line to match my Amex. Took about 2 minutes
Never be afraid to call.
Grats on your success..
Very nice CL! Big congrats!

Congratulations to you and the fantastic SL! Never be afraid to call though is very subjective. Your profile definitely supported the call, high Fico, 19 year history with a prime lender and high credit limits already with a $300k income! How could they say no? Lol. Another's profile may be 657 Fico, small limit cards, Aaoa of 7 months, $30k income, they may have a different outcome. Again congrats and I sure hope they move this to the Approvals section!
congrats! I'm sure your income helped Barclays decide to love you though haha ![]()
