Applied for the Rewards card, 7-10 days, called the recon line, nice guy but left me at the denial because my income isnt high enough ($30,000) and they would like to see more credit history. I have 4 credit cards and 4 store cards, AAoA is 5.1 years with 100% on time payments. I think i have enough credit history.
Which rewards card? Apple rewards or a different one?
My TU is 642 and it wasnt the Apple rewards card, it was just Barclays Rewards card. I considered getting the Apple Rewards card but theyve turned me down in the past for that one.

Score is a bit on the low side for Barclays I think.
Depends, pretty good shot at the Apple card, but that just depends. I had the exact same score as him and was declined for that too. Was just looking for a data point.
I'll probably just throw Barclays in the reject pile like I've done with Chase. I got approved for an Amex with an EX score of 646.
I think income/credit score were main factors. I got a BarclayRewards card a few months ago and my AAoA is like less than 3 years now with all of the new cards I have opened up. My score at the time was like 699 and income at 75k. They only approved me for a stingy 1.5k - so that card gets used like once a month for a gum purchase or something small.
