Barclay's

So I applied a week ago for the NFL card and was declined because of too many new accounts and recent inquiries (at least 4 in the last month). How long should I wait before applying for another Barclay card? I am not planning on applying for it until October/November at the earliest (was considering sooner, but don't want to push my luck).

If you were denied for too many new accounts and inquiries I would wait at least 6 months. I tried for that NFL card like 3 times and was always denied (can't remember the reasons). I finally gave up on that card, and 6 months after my last denial for that card I app'd for their Ring card and got approved. And the funny thing is I had way more new accounts and inquiries when I got approved for the Ring--so who knows.

Barclay's can be picky about inquiries and new accounts. I would wait 6 months from the time of denial before trying again. Don't add any inquiries or new accounts within those 6 months.
