As an update, Barclays denied me. They state on the denial letter that my credit score was 807, but cited "Too many recent applications." Which would be the Citi card I was denied lol

Ouch dude I definitely don't see how you get denied by either of them.  

I got my Citi AA Executive with a pretty thin file myself. 

I would Hang Up Call Again (HUCA) and see if someone will do you a solid.  

Your numbers look pretty good.

Barclays can be pretty fair on a recon. Id give them a shot

Thanks. I called their recon line and they immediately overturned the denial. The guy on the phone said someone put that I already had a pending application with them and that it was probably a typo.
