I do but nothing very recent. A CO that is off TU only. And a BK 9 years old. 2 late student loan payments 2.5 years ago. 4 store cards, 2yrs old no lates. 2 car loans also 2 years old no lates. I like that it pulls TU because that is my best score.

If you don't get approved call the recon line. I did and they approved me for $500 to start.

Many (most) of Barclay's cards are not available in Iowa because of Iowa consumer credit protection laws, which is a good and bad thing. This has been an issue for a couple years. You can refer to this DoC post as well as this previous MF forum post.

The good thing is that the Barclaycard Visa with Apple Rewards is available in Iowa (From About this Offer in the T&C: "This offer is available only to applicants who are residents of the United States, with the exception of Puerto Rico and the US territories...." (I assume because cobranded cards can't be limited by bank's geography if they want the cobranding business.) They do specify differences for Iowa residents (such as late fees, interest calcluations, etc.).

So, I would just make sure you do you research and check out something like credipulls to look at credit scores that yielded an approval, and assuming this cards meets your needs/goals, go for it.

Re: Barclays Rewards not available in my state?

I applied for the Barclays Apple card and I'm approved! My limit is $2500. which I am perfectly happy with. . They pulled only TU and my score with them is 675.

I thought Id try for the Cap 1 Venture card but may not get that due to Ex & Euifax at just 650. Any other suggestions?

I did the sct with williams sonoma and it said approved, I just dont know if the approval is a store card or the general credit card so I just ignored it.

I don't think 650 alone would deny you the Venture.  Try the Cap One prequalification checker as it's very reliable.
